Make the Most of Your Meeting

We’ve now had two meetings at our new location on the campus of CSU Fullerton. We’ve learned a thing or two and here’s a quick rundown of how you can make the most of your meeting.

COFFEE & TEA

Could we ever live without them?

Before you arrive on campus, the most convenient place to get the warm and cozy brew of your choice is Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf on Nutwood Avenue (right where you exit and enter the 57).

If you’re of the Starbucks persuasion, the nearest location is 505 N State College Blvd at East Chapman Avenue. The on-campus Starbucks locations are closed on Saturdays.

You can purchase coffee and hot water for tea at The Market adjacent to the Gastronome. But it opens at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

LUNCH ORDERS

I ordered the Mediterranean salad and it was delicious. I got a lot of food for $12 so I promise you won’t go hungry. If you’d like to review the menu of sandwiches and salads available to pre-order, please visit our Lunch Page.

ON CAMPUS DINING

At the February meeting, my lunch pals went to the Gastronome where for $8 they got to select from breakfast and lunch items in a buffet-style setting. But there were 400 high schoolers about to descend upon the facility that day, so we were politely asked to skedaddle outside!

BRING YOUR OWN

If you prefer to bring your own lunch, we have a mini-refrigerator and microwave in the Multi-Purpose room.

EATING OUT

Right across the street from campus on Nutwood Avenue, you can drive to a mini-mall that is home to: Pizza Press, The Habit Burger, Café Rio Mexican Grill and Which Wich Superior Sandwiches.
